Medical Records
Stat-Care will modify documentation programs to meet the needs of the individual
facility. In an effort to provide a more efficient and effective program each
facility is assigned to one editor who handles the specific needs and challenges
of that home. To meet the special needs of the sub-acute unit Stat-Care Pharmacy
will print the medical records of those residents due for a 30 day edit based upon
the original admission date of that resident. This reduces the nurses time spent
re-editing unnecessary medical records.
- Admission formats are custom designed to reduce the time spent hand writing
routine orders while maintaining consistent documentation. Each facility determines
what and where their information will print
- Medication administration records can be printed to generate separate pages for
medication that have frequent dose changes, thereby, reducing common administration
errors
- Psychotherapeutic Drug Monitoring Sheets: To meet the OBRA regulations for documenting
potential side effects of this drug category Stat-Care Pharmacy will print each month a
monitoring sheet to ensure compliance and identify target behaviors
